Even though I love traveling to the farthest reaches of the world, whenever someone asks me what my favorite cities are, Venice always tops that list. I know it’s super touristy there, but I have a soft side for the beautiful canals, the vaporettos dotting the waterways, and Piazza San Marcos (where else can you stroll with a Latte Macchiato at dusk to live classical music… sigh)?
